Pension Engagement Hub

Welcome to the Pension Engagement Hub, a collection of pension engagement resources, articles, videos and external tools that employers can use to support employee understanding and engagement with workplace pensions.

Whether you’re running a Pension Awareness campaign, promoting financial wellbeing or supporting employees approaching retirement, these resources can be incorporated into internal communications, benefits platforms, webinars and engagement campaigns.

Pension Awareness 2026

We’ve partnered with the Pension Awareness campaign, which this year is encouraging people to spend just two minutes on their pension using its simple checklist.

Small actions can have a big impact over time. Whether it’s checking how much you’re contributing, reviewing your investment choices, updating your beneficiaries or locating old pension pots, a few minutes today could help improve your retirement outcomes in the future.

To support the campaign, our colleagues Kelly Parsons and Adam Bexson share their practical tips and insights in the short videos below.

Pension Scams

Protect yourself from pension scams

Pension scams can have a devastating impact on retirement savings and are becoming increasingly sophisticated. Scammers often contact people unexpectedly through phone calls, emails, text messages or social media, promising high returns, early access to pension savings or one-off investment opportunities.

A good rule of thumb is that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Before making any decisions about your pension, take time to check who you are dealing with, seek guidance where appropriate and be wary of any pressure to act quickly.

Watch out for these warning signs

  • Unsolicited contact about your pension
  • Promises of high or guaranteed returns
  • Offers to access your pension before age 55 (57 from April 2028, except in limited circumstances)
  • Pressure to make a quick decision
  • Requests to transfer your pension to an unfamiliar arrangement
  • Claims that an opportunity is available for a limited time only
