Inaccurate reporting of a customer’s credit file can result in financial detriment, leading to complaints and in some cases significant remediation activity. Our independent review checks for data quality issues that are often not spotted by the bureau upon receiving the data and assesses the impact. This can provide clarity to stakeholders and, if issues are found, can be the launchpad for improving data quality.
Our Service
Our team of credit risk experts will check the data quality of your recent bureau submission files to flag errors and internal inconsistencies. We will analyse up to 12 months of submissions and can work with data from any of the three UK major credit bureaus. The data requirements of the service are light so it can fit alongside your team’s existing processes – simply upload your recent submissions to our secure data transfer portal.
What You Receive
Following the review, we’ll summarise the findings into a ‘health check’ report in Excel, detailing tests undertaken, including explanations and examples of any issues found.
Significant findings will be highlighted in a presentation session with opportunity to discuss queries and potential fixes with our specialists. We’ll also give you our overall view of your data health compared to what we’ve seen elsewhere in the industry.
