Mark is one of Broadstone’s Actuarial Directors and Heads up the Actuarial team in Sheffield; he has been with the firm since April 2006.
Mark has over 20 years' experience in the Pensions and Investments and is the Scheme Actuary to a number of our clients. He has experience in all aspects of running occupational pension schemes and advising Trustees and employers. As well as the day-to-day Scheme Actuary role, he also has experience in advising clients on the implementation of all forms of de-risking strategies, including advice on target return strategies and liability driven investment strategies.
Mark has worked for M&G Investments and for PricewaterhouseCoopers providing various forms of consultancy advice. After qualifying in 2006, he joined Kerr & Company which later became Pope Anderson. He was made partner in December 2011 until November 2012 when the business was acquired by BROADSTONE.
Mark graduated from Aberystwyth University in 1989 with a degree in mathematics. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and holds a current Scheme Actuary certificate.
